Support staff frequently need the "Computer Name" to be able to provide specific types of support. If you are logged in using your Unity ID on your Windows machine, follow these steps. 

 

 

 

Information

 

 

If you are able to log in on Windows

The Settings app offers build, edition, and version information in a user-friendly form.

  1. Hit Windows+I to open Settings.
  2. In the Settings window, navigate to System > About.
  3. Scroll down a bit and you’ll see the information you’re after.
  4. The name of the computer will be listed beside Device Name will generally have the following format: DEPARTMENT-6 Characters (for example: OITHELP-32DB56)

If you are not able to log in on Windows

  1. On the login screen below the username and password fields, click How do I sign into another domain?
  2. In the pop-up that appears, look for the computer name in the following format: DEPARTMENT-6 Characters (for example: OITHELP-32DB56). That is your computer's name.
