WolfPrint Mobility Print Instructions
This document explains how to use Mobility Print with the WolfPrint printers and includes links for setup instructions per supported operating systems. The intended audience is an end user.
Information
Mobility Print allows you to print directly from your device the following WolfPrint printers.
- WolfPrint-BlackAndWhite (Letter size)
- WolfPrint-Color (Letter size)
- WolfPrint-BlackAndWhite-11x17 (Tabloid/Ledger size)
- WolfPrint-Color-11x17 (Tabloid/Ledger size)
To add WolfPrint printers during the initial setup your device must be on the NC State network. On-campus users connect to the NC State wireless network using Eduroam or NCSU WiFi. Off-campus users connect using NC State's VPN Service.
Choose your device's operating system for setup instructions.
After your OS has been set up with the Mobility Print printers, you will print as you would to any other printer from your device, then follow the additional steps to confirm and release your print job. Please note that these instructions are also provided in each Knowledge Base article for the operating systems above.
1. Submit your file(s) to Print
- Choose the desired WolfPrint FollowMe printer
- When prompted to log in, use your Unity ID and password
2. Confirm Your Print Job
- Complete this step within 10 minutes, or your print job will be automatically removed from the system!
- Go to the PaperCut login page
- Enter your username (Unity ID) and password
- Press the Login button
- Go to the PaperCut login page

- After a few seconds, in the PaperCut window, you should get a Print Job Notification.
- Select an account to be charged: Your personal account or shared account you have access to
- To confirm the job, click on the Print button
- A pop-up message should appear, indicating that your file is ready to print on a FollowMe printer.

- After a few seconds, in the PaperCut window, you should get a Print Job Notification.
3. Release and Print Your Job
- Complete this step within 12 hours or your print job will be automatically removed from the system.
- Go to your chosen printer. It should have a WolfPrint FollowMe sticker with the following information:

- Print queue name (WolfPrint-BlackAndWhite, WolfPrint-Color, etc.)
- Physical Printer name (building abbreviation and room number location)
- QR Code for Touch-Free print release

- Choose your print release method.

- Traditional print release, log using the card reader on the device
- Manually enter your Unity ID and password on the printer’s screen
- Scan the QR code for Touch-Free Print Release
- Your device must be on the Eduroam or NCSU WiFi network
- The QR code will lead you to the PaperCut web client for you to log in and release your print jobs

- Follow the printer’s instructions on the control panel screen
- Select Print Release
- Choose the print job(s) to release and print
- Log out of the printer’s home screen when complete
- Choose the print job(s) to release and print
- Select Print Release
