If you have a new phone or device, have factory reset your device, removed the Duo Mobile app or need to reactivate Duo on your phone for any reason, follow these instructions.

Accessing the My Setting & Devices page

  1. Go to the Duo Enrollment and Device Management page.
  2. Sign in with your Unity ID and password.
  3. When you are prompted to log in through Duo, use an alternative Duo login method or device to sign in.

Note: The NC State Help Desk is unable to provide bypass codes via email. You will need to call the NC State Help Desk at 919-515-4357 (HELP) to speak with a support representative if you need a bypass code.  Be prepared to answer your UIA security questions to verify your identity.

Reactivating the Duo Mobile App

On the My Settings & Devices page:

  1. Select Device Options, listed next to your device.
  2. Select Reactivate Duo Mobile.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: If you do not see the Reactivate Duo Mobile option, you most likely setup your device for SMS only. You will want to add your phone as a new device to begin using the Duo Mobile app.
