NC State provides a virtual private network (VPN) connection through the Cisco Secure Client software. A VPN connection is typically required when accessing sensitive information or using on-campus resources from an off-campus connection.

Install Cisco Secure Client

To download and install Cisco Secure Client on your computer, select your operating system or device below and follow the provided instructions.

Connect to the VPN

After you have installed the Cisco Secure Client software, follow the steps to connect to the NC State VPN to log in and connect to the VPN.
