Install and Connect to the NC State VPN Client for Android 4.0 or Newer

Installation Instructions for Android

1. Install the Cisco Secure Client-AnyConnect app from the Google Play Store.

Establish a New Connection

1. Open the AnyConnect/Cisco Secure Client app on your Android device.
2. Select Connections and tap the plus (+) icon in the lower-right corner.
3. Enter vpn.ncsu.edu into the Server Address field and select Done.
   • You can enter a description, but it is not required.
4. Tap the ← in the top-left corner to return to the starting screen.
5. Toggle the switch to the right of AnyConnect VPN.
6. Beginning at Step 2 of our Connect with the NC State VPN instructions, complete the connection.
   • You may be notified that your configuration created by the user has been renamed to avoid a name conflict.  Just tap OK.
