Google Group managers that would like to adjust their group settings so that anyone in the organization or anyone on the web (an external user to NC State) can browse the group in the Groups Directory and GAL, should adjust their visibility setting.

  1. Visit groups.google.com.
  2. Click My Groups.
  3. Click the name of a group you manage.
  4. On the left, click Group settings.
  5. Under Who can see group, select an option.
  6. Click Save changes.

Selecting “Anyone on the web” will allow your group to be found by selecting the “All groups” option from the Groups page via the web UI.

For additional information, see Google’s support article on Groups.
