You may potentially receive a number of "[Your Name], Complete Your 2FA Enrollment!" emails even after enrolling in Duo. In most situations, there is a timing issue between when a user enrolls in 2FA at NC State and when the reminder email list gets generated.  If you are being prompted for Duo Mobile when signing into Shibboleth authenticated services like the MyPack Portal, then you can ignore the email and should not receive further reminders. You can also verify your enrollment directly using the steps below.

Verify Your 2FA Enrollment Directly

If you are receiving notices that you need to complete enrollment in Duo Security and you are not sure you have completed the enrollment, then you can verify this yourself.

  1. Visit the Duo Enrollment and Device Management page.
  2. Log in with your NC State Unity ID and password.

  3. If you are prompted to authenticate with Duo as pictured above, then you are enrolled and can ignore further notices.

  4. If you see a Start Setup screen you will want to complete your enrollment now.
