All students have the ability to create a MyPack parent account for their parent/guardian, which they can use to access your selected student data (including bills, tax information, financial aid, academic information, and directory information).

Create a Parent/Guardian Account in MyPack Portal

Your parent/guardian will need a parental account to access your student data. As a student, you cannot share your password with anyone, including your parent/guardian. You can change what they have access to at any time.

  1. Log into MyPack Portal with your Unity account.
  2. Select the Personal Information tile on your Student Homepage.
  3. Select the Parent & Guardian Access tab.
  4. Select Add Relationship under Active Relationships.
  5. Enter the required information and select SAVE.
    • An email address that your parent can access is required for the parental account.
    • If your parent has an NCSU Unity account, it is recommended to use a personal/non-NCSU account for their parent account.
  6. Select Grant Parent Access in the Active Relationships section.
  7. Use the toggle buttons to select what access you want to grant. You can select Explain These Options to see what information each option grants access to.
  8. Enter a PIN and PIN Hint Question for your parent/guardian.
  9. Select Submit.

Your parent will receive a confirmation email from brickyard@ncsu.edu. They must select Complete Account Setup within 30 days to confirm and set up their account. If they miss the 30-day window, you will need to resend the confirmation email.
