NC State provides a virtual private network (VPN) connection through the Cisco Secure Client software. A VPN connection is typically required when an individual may be accessing sensitive information or accessing on-campus resources from an off-campus connection.
To download and install Cisco Secure Client to your computer, please select your operating system or device below.

Connecting to the VPN
When the file installs, you may need to search for it on your computer. Depending on your operating system, you can use the search bar near the Start Menu (Windows 10) or Finder (macOS), to search for Cisco Secure Client.
Once the client is open, follow the steps on Connect with the NC State VPN to log in.
