Before you start - Connect to the NC State Network!

To print with WolfPrint, your device must be connected to the campus network.    If you’re off campus, establish a secure connection to the NCSU VPN service before trying to use the WolfPrint service.

Install the PaperCut Mobility Print App

Known Issue:  If you already have the Mobility Print App installed but your device searches and can't find the WolfPrint printers, please click on the link again to restore the connection to WolfPrint.

  • Tap Open to launch the Mobility Print App

  • Tap Allow to enable the Mobility Print service to send you notifications
  • Tap Make Sure the Mobility Print Service is on, then
  • Under the Print Services
    • Toggle Mobility Print Service "ON"
    • Toggle Default Print Service "ON"

After you have installed the PaperCut Mobility Print App, follow these 3 steps to print!

Step 1. Send your print job to a WolfPrint Virtual Printer

  • Print as you normally would, and select the desired WolfPrint Printer.
  • Tap on the yellow printer icon
  • Authenticate with PaperCut
    • Open the PaperCut notification that your job requires authentication.
    • Enter your Unity ID and Password to proceed with printing.

Step 2. Find a Printer

Visit https://go.ncsu.edu/printers to locate a WolfPrint printer that supports the virtual queue where you sent your file.

  • If you sent it to the WolfPrint-BlackandWhite queue, find a Black and White printer.
  • If you sent a file to the WolfPrint-Color queue, find a Color printer.

Step 3. Confirm and Release

*Complete this step within 12 hours, or your print job will be automatically removed from the system.

  • Log in to the device and follow the prompts to release your print job.
    • You can log in using the card reader attached to the printer with your campus ID card
    • Or, manually enter your Unity ID and password at the control panel
    • Or,  scan the QR code with your phone's camera and log in to PaperCut
