Mobility Print allows you to print from any supported device to the WolfPrint FollowMe printers.
- Mobility Print does not require you to upload a PDF document to the WolfPrint Website.
- Instead, you will add the Wolfprint FollowMe printers directly to your device during the one-time setup process.
- Then, you can use the appropriate print command to print from any application on your mobile device.
- After you send your print job to a WolfPrint FollowMe printer, it will be held in a virtual queue for up to 12 hours.
- Release your print job at any WolfPrint Printer that supports the FollowMe printer you selected.
Before you start, connect to the NC State Network!
To use WolfPrint, your device must be connected to the campus network. If you’re off campus, establish a secure connection to the NCSU VPN service before trying to use the WolfPrint service.
- On-Campus: Connect to eduroam or ncsu Wi-Fi
- Off-Campus: Use NC State's VPN Service
A one-time setup is needed on most devices to install the WolfPrint FollowMe printers.

After the initial setup is complete, follow these 3 easy steps to print!
Step 1. Send your print job to a WolfPrint virtual printer.
Once you have the Mobility Printers installed on your device, choose the appropriate print command and select a WolfPrint FollowMe printer.
- WolfPrint-BlackAndWhite (Letter size)
- WolfPrint-Color (Letter size)
- WolfPrint-BlackAndWhite-11x17 (Tabloid size)
- WolfPrint-Color-11x17 (Tabloid size)
Step 2. Find a WolfPrint physical printer.
To locate a physical WolfPrint printer, visit go.ncsu.edu/printers
- If you send a print job to the WolfPrint-BlackandWhite virtual queue, find a Black and White OR Color printer.
- If you send a print job to the WolfPrint-Color virtual queue, find a Color printer.
- If you send a print job to either of the WolfPrint-11x17 virtual queues, find a model C840dn printer.
Step 3. Confirm and release your print job.
Complete this step within 12 hours, or your print job will be automatically removed from the system.
- Swipe your WolfPack One Card/NCSU ID in the card reader attached to the printer.
- Or manually enter your Unity ID and password at the control panel.
- Or scan the QR code with your phone's camera for "touch-free" print release.
- Follow the on-screen prompts at the control panel to release your print job.
- Important! After you select the print job to be released, choose an account to charge it to.
- If you have access to a Shared Account, select the account number from the list shown.
- If no account numbers are listed and you see a message "No results found", tap "Use Personal Account".
