All ClassTech classrooms are Zoom-enabled and equipped with microphones and a room camera to enable seamless video conferencing. Start the Zoom session using the lectern PC instead of your laptop. This way you can use the high-quality cameras and microphones in your videoconference. You should only use your laptop for screen-sharing purposes during the meeting. The majority of rooms are equipped with a desk microphone for your use. This microphone is always active and will pick up ambient sound as long as you stay near its location on the lectern. If you'd like to walk around, ClassTech recommends using the wireless lapel microphone.
If the camera presets do not work for your needs, contact classtech@ncsu.edu or 919-515-4357 to have them adjusted.
