NC State maintains multiple Moodle sites that reside on separate servers. There is a separate Moodle server for each academic year, and there are also non-academic Moodle servers dedicated to WolfWare Projects and Outreach.
Students and instructors can access ALL of their Moodle courses through WolfWare (https://wolfware.ncsu.edu) regardless of the server the course resides in.
To link directly to a Moodle course, or to set up a direct browser bookmark, be sure to use the correct Moodle server for the current academic year. The correct Moodle server address is also needed for linking to the Moodle mobile app. Follow the instructions in the "Using the Moodle App for Mobile Devices" article to link the address after acquiring it from this article.
This article provides delineation between different available Moodle servers offered by DELTA.
Available Moodle Servers
The different servers available are maintained according to DELTA's WolfWare retention policy, located here. According to the SOP, "A Moodle course will remain editable for 1 year after the end of the Academic Year in which it was offered". Courses will be accessible but not editable after one year from when they were delivered.
If students need to continue to access a course due to an incomplete, follow the instructions in the "Granting a Student Extended Access to a Moodle Course" article to give them access.
