This article describes the features and functionality of Alerts, News items, and Notifications.

One of the unique features of Customer Center is the Alerts. Displayed in color bars across the top of the page, users can click once on an Alert to read it fully.

An Alert can be green, yellow, or red. This represents the Priority assigned by the System Administrator when they created the Alert. For example, Red indicates an Alert of Critical priority, yellow indicates Medium priority, and green indicates Low priority.

The News feature is another way to convey important information and updates via the Home page.

News items will display on the Home page on the left-hand side of the screen. The items scroll through, displaying a summary of the article.

Clicking Read More opens a pop-up window with the full text of the News item.

Notification messages are email messages sent to users from the system automatically. You should receive email notifications when your request has been submitted and received by Customer Service, as well as when your request has been completed.
