NC State provides a virtual private network (VPN) connection through software known as the Cisco Secure Client. A VPN connection is typically required in situations where an individual may be accessing sensitive information or when an individual accesses on-campus resources with an off-campus connection.
To download and install Cisco AnyConnect to your computer, please select your operating system or device below.

Connecting to the VPN
When the file installs, you may need to search for it on your computer. Depending on your operating system, you can use the search bar near the Start Menu (Windows 10) or Finder (macOS), to search for Cisco Secure Client.
Once the client is open, follow the steps on Connect with the NC State VPN to log in.
