Introduction
The ServiceNow mobile app for AGENTS is called ServiceNow Agent. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded from the respective app stores.
NC State has configured ServiceNow Agent for ITIL users (IT Service Management). The ServiceNow Agent was not designed to replace the platform version of ServiceNow. The mobile application offers convenience while on the go.

- Incident and Task Management: Users can view, update, and resolve incidents and tasks assigned to them.
- Knowledge Base Access: Search the knowledge base and access knowledge articles.
- Notifications: Users can receive and view their notifications from the app.
- Approvals: Users can review and approve requests for ServiceNow workflows directly from their mobile devices.
Retiring the ServiceNow Classic App
- ServiceNow no longer supports the old mobile app
- Classic has not been specifically configured for the NC State instance of ServiceNow.
Install instructions:
- Download and install the ServiceNow Agent app.
- App Store: ServiceNow Agent
- Google Play: ServiceNow Agent
- Enter the instance address: ncsu.service-now.com
- Log in with your Unity ID.
- Verify your identity with the Duo app when you receive the notification.
- Answer: Yes, trust the browser.
- Choose Accept on the Shibboleth Login Service.
