Mobile Printing Options

This document explains the two print services offered for mobile printing to a WolfPrint printer.  The intended audience is an end user.

Information

WolfPrint supports mobile printing from personal devices.  Two different services, Mobility Print and Web Print enable you to use the WolfPrint FollowMe printers from your mobile device. To use these services, your device must be on the NC State network.  On-campus users, connect to the NC State wireless network and use Eduroam or NCSU. Off-campus users, connect using NC State's VPN Service.

Mobility Print allows you to print jobs from any application on your mobile device and it is compatible with Chromebooks, iPads, iPhones, Macs, Windows, and Android devices.  Instructions for setting up Mobility Print for your specific operating system are available at go.ncsu.edu/mobility-print

WebPrint is a service that allows printing for laptop, wireless, and unauthenticated users without the need to install print drivers on their devices. To use WebPrint, visit go.ncsu.edu/print and select the Web Print Login button.

Escalation

Any questions on process or content contained in this document should be escalated through the NCSU Help Desk and have an incident assigned to the OIT_WOLFPRINT support team.
