This article explains the processes to view call details specific to a phone number or Long Distance Authorization Codes within your department(s).

The Call Details page is accessible from the Billing menu on the Home page and allows you to view call details records over a period of time.

By default, the page will display call record results within the current month, but you can modify the search parameters to include a different date range.

You can search for specific phone numbers and Long Distance Authorization Codes**.

The correct format to enter a phone number is 919XXXXXXX.

Call Details can be exported or downloaded in CSV format.

**Long Distance Authorization Codes (Auth Codes) are necessary for making long-distance calls at NC State University. A phone has a restricted dialing plan and can be ordered free of charge - Shopping > Services > Analog Services. Codes are assigned to a specific person, but since the codes can be used from ANY university phone number, the code can also be restricted to a specific phone number if you wish. Any long-distance calls made with an Auth Code are charged according to ComTech Service Rates.

Note: Call Details can be viewed from the Bill Review detail described in the Billing article or by viewing the Call Details records.

  1. Hover your mouse over the Billing menu on the Home page and select Call Details.

  2. The window will open to show a list of all calls billed to your account(s).

Note: Only the first 5,000 rows will be included.

  3. You can filter the information by entering a phone number in the Search Phone Number field or entering a Long Distance Authorization Code number in the Authcode field.
    • The correct format for entering a phone number is - 919XXXXXXX—for example, 9195158900.
