This document is intended to instruct end users on how to Enable Dark Mode in Microsoft Office Applications 

 

 

 

 

Information

 

Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Publisher) have a Dark Mode feature used to help reduce eye strain and light sensitivity.

Here are the Steps to Enable Dark Mode in Microsoft Office Applications

  1. Open the Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher)
  2. Select File
  3. Select Account
  4. Under Office Theme select the drop down menu and choose the color setting of choice. To configure Dark Mode select Dark Gray or Black depending on the version of Microsoft Office that you have installed.
