Cisco Secure Client VPN Installation Instructions for macOS

  1. Download the Secure Client 5.X installer for macOS
  2. Double-click to open the NCSU-Campus-Cisco_Secure_AnyConnect-5.1.1.42.dmg file.
  3. Double-click the Cisco Secure Client.pkg icon.
  4. Click the Continue button on the Introduction and License Agreement screens.
  5. Click Agree to the terms of the software license agreement.
  6. In the Destination Select window, choose the disk where you want to install the software if prompted, and click Continue.
  7. In the Installation Type window, UNCHECK EVERYTHING except AnyConnect VPN, click Continue and click Install.



  8. In the Installation window, authorize the installation on your computer by entering your Mac login info.
  9. Click on the Close button. once you see the installation was successful.
    • You can choose to Keep or Move to Trash the Cisco Secure Client installer.
