Using Mobility Print from Android

This document provides instructions for using Mobility Print on Android devices for printing to WolfPrint printers.  The intended audience is an end user.

Information

To add the WolfPrint printers for Mobility Print during setup, your device must be on the NC State network.  On-campus users connect to NCSU Wifi using Eduroam or NCSU, not NCSU Guest or your device's data plan.  Off-campus users must connect to the campus network using NC State's VPN Service.

Setting Up Mobility Print

Install the Mobility Print Android App from the Google Play Store.

  • Tap Open
  • Check that the Mobility Print Service is on
  • Tap Mobility Print
  • Verify that there are 4 WolfPrint Printers
    • WolfPrint-BlackandWhite
    • WolfPrint-Color
    • WolfPrint-BlackandWhite-11x17
    • WolfPrint-Color-11x17

Submit the file(s) to Print

  • Print like you normally would from your device, selecting the desired WolfPrint FollowMe Printer.
  • When prompted, enter your Unity ID and password.

Important!  After your print job is submitted, you must confirm it within 10 minutes by following the steps below, or it will automatically be removed from the system.

Confirm and Release the print job

  • Open the PaperCut Web Client at https://go.ncsu.edu/wolfprint
  • Log in with your Unity ID and password.
  • After a few seconds, you should get a Print Job Notification pop-up.
  • Select the PaperCut account to charge and then click Print.
  • Another pop-up message should appear, indicating the file is ready to print on a FollowMe printer.
  • Click OK and locate a WolfPrint FollowMe printer to release your.
