Information
Each WolfPrint FollowMe printer should have a QR code label on the front of it for Touch-Free print release. While traditional print release (using an NCSU ID card or manual login) is still available, users can scan a QR code using their mobile device and release their print job from the web for a touch-free experience.
To use the Touch-Free print release
- Scan the QR code with your phone. On most phones, the camera will do this. If not, make sure "Scan QR Codes" is enabled in the camera settings.
- The QR code will pop up a notification on your device. Tap to open the URL and verify it takes you to the printer you are using on "papercut.oit.ncsu.edu".
- Enter your Unity ID and password to log in to PaperCut.
- All available jobs for release on that printer will be listed by default. Uncheck any that you don’t want to print at this time.
- Tap the print button on the bottom left to release the print jobs that are still checked.
See KB0022049 for more details on releasing and printing a WolfPrint Job.
