Add the PaperCut Mobility Extension
Chrome OS uses a browser extension for PaperCut’s Mobility Print service, instead of an App. If you have a previous version of the App installed, you will automatically be prompted to update to use the extension.
- Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for Mobility Print by PaperCut.
- Click on the blue Add to Chrome button to install the Mobility Print Extension.
- After the extension is added, a Welcome to PaperCut Mobility Print message will appear, indicating you are ready to print.
After you have added the PaperCut Mobility Print Extension, follow these 3 steps to print!
Step 1. Send your print job to a WolfPrint Virtual Printer
- Print as you normally would, and ensure the printer has "Mobility Print" in its name.
- When prompted to sign in, log in to PaperCut Mobility Print with your Unity ID and password.
Step 2. Find a WolfPrint physical printer.
Visit https://go.ncsu.edu/printers to locate a physical WolfPrint printer that supports the virtual printer you used.
-
- If you sent a print job to the WolfPrint-BlackandWhite virtual queue, find a Black and White OR a Color printer.
- If you sent a print job to the WolfPrint-Color virtual queue, find a Color printer.
Step 3. Confirm and release your print job.
*Complete this step within 12 hours, or your print job will be automatically removed from the system.
-
- Log in to the printer using your Unity ID and Password.
- You can use your WolfPack One/NCSU ID in the card reader, or manually enter it at the control panel.
- Or, scan the QR code with your phone's camera for "touch-free" print release.
- Be sure to select the account to charge for printing!
- If you have access to a "shared account", select the account from the list shown.
- If you see the message "No results found. Please try another search term", tap "Use Personal Account".
