It depends on your business processes. With Duo, you have the option to “remember” your computer as trusted for 14 days. After remembering your device, you will still have to log in with your username and password normally, but you won't be asked to authenticate with your second factor until after 14 days.

With Google, if you log out of a Google service, you will have to 2 factor to get back in every time. However, if you quit your web browser or logout of your machine and do not log out of Google services, your web session is remembered for 14 days.

*Note* - This is cookie-based within your browser. Should you use a different machine, change browsers, or clear your browser cookies, you will need to authenticate with two factor again.

Mobile app logins are unaffected, unless you are using a mobile web browser to access Gmail or another Google service.

*Note

When you trust a computer, you will not have to confirm your account for up to 14 days. You should only trust computers that are truly trusted, so do not trust public computers, such as computer lab or kiosk machines.
