This article explains the procedure to request a change to an Active Service that falls outside of the options of the Change Menu. For example, if you need to change the Billing Account (GLA) for a specific service or to Upgrade an Analog phone line to a VoIP phone line.
- On the Home page of Customer Center, in the Department Services/Equipment section, search for the service you wish to change.
- Click the 3 blue lines to the left of the Service and select Miscellaneous Change.
- Select Create New Request, or you can add it to any Saved Requests you have in your cart.
- When you have finished adding items and/or actions to your request, proceed to checkout by clicking the Shopping Cart
icon at the top right of the screen and navigating to your Saved Request.
- To request an upgrade from Analog to VoIP, simply type ‘Switch to VoIP’ into the Comments field of the Edit Item Information form of the Analog item in the Request.
- To change the Billing Account (GLA) for a specific service, use the field picker (Magnifying Glass icon) in the Account field of the Edit Item Information form of the Service item in the Request.
