Your instructor may require exams to be taken using, Safe Exam Browser (SEB). SEB is a lockdown browser, included in Moodle, used to help ensure academic integrity.

A computer and broadband internet are required to use SEB. If you do not have the necessary equipment to complete your exams, check with the library to see if the technology is available to borrow

To take an online test with SEB, navigate to the exam and launch SEB (or download if this is your first time accessing SEB). You won't be able to access the exam with a standard web browser.

Even though you may be taking the exam on your own, you should treat the testing environment as if you are in the classroom or test center. As a rule of thumb, clear your area of any personal items. Do not engage in any behavior you would not normally take part in during an on-campus, in-person exam — talking with others, using your phone, using non-permitted materials, etc.
