How do I purchase the full Visio or Project application for use with Microsoft 365?
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise includes a list of additional cloud based applications such as Visio and Project, which are included with the licensing. These are generally a lighter version of the application, so if you require the full version then it may need to be purchased for use through the Software Licensing Team.

Visio Plan 1 is included in our Microsoft 365 A3 license.
Visio Plan 2 is a subscription at $26.67/year.
Project

Project Plan 3 is a subscription at $68/year.
What is OneDrive?
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise includes Onedrive, which is similar to Google Drive for university storage of files, however OIT has standardized on the Home (B) and Share Drives (S) for storage.
Onedrive is similar to Google Drive regarding the Storage Data Classifications
Data Management Framework
Licensing (30 Days Offline Reduced Functionality Mode)
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise communicates with the Licensing Service daily to verify the license status and extend the product key. As long as the computer can connect to the internet at least once every 30 days then Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise remains fully functional. If the computer goes offline with no internet connectivity for more than 30 days then Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise enters the reduced functionality mode until the next time a connection can be made to the internet.
* Reduced functionality mode is when Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise remains installed on the device, but users can only view and print their documents. All features for editing or creating new documents are disabled. To regain Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise into a fully functional state again connect the system to the internet and let the Activation and Validation Services reactivate the installation. Additional OIT support may be required if activation is not successful.
