Changing your email address for personal Apple accounts KB0021389
If you use an @ncsu.edu email address as your Apple ID for a personal iTunes or iCloud account, you will soon be required to change it.
NC State has claimed the @ncsu.edu domain with Apple — this means individuals will no longer be able to use any email address that ends in @ncsu.edu to log in to their Apple account as of March 27, 2024. To avoid service disruptions, change your email address now at appleid.apple.com or directly from your Apple device.
The data associated with your Apple account, including App Store and iTunes purchases or files and photos stored in iCloud, will not be affected. You will be able to access your data as usual when logging in with your new email address. NC State will never have access to any of your data.
