Yes, NC State University was approved in October 2016 by SARA - North Carolina to participate in NC-SARA and NC State’s online and distance education programs are authorized or exempt from authorization in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.  

NC-SARA plays an important role in ensuring consumer protections for students who take advantage of interstate distance education programs. A college or university that has been approved to participate in SARA may offer distance education programs to students in other SARA member states.
