Turn Google Chat On or Off in Gmail

1. Sign in to Gmail with your NCSU email account.
2. Click Settings in the top right corner.
3. Click See all settings.
4. Navigate to the Chat and Meet tab.
5. You may now select a radio button, "Google Chat" or "Off".
   
   • Select "Google Chat" to have chat enabled in Gmail.
   • Select "Off" to disable chat in Gmail.
6. Click Save Changes.

5. Click Manage chat settings.
   • Manage chat notifications.
   • Set a do not disturb schedule.
   • Manage blocked users and spaces.

6. Click Save Changes.

Font size of Google Chat in Gmail

The font size of Google Chat in Gmail cannot be changed.
