Yes, a Unity account is required to register for online and distance education courses. The Unity account is a student’s digital credentials and gives them access to many of NC State’s online resources. The Unity account consists of the Unity ID and password. NC State’s Office of Information Technology automatically generates the Unity ID from the student’s name. Students use their Unity credentials to log into MyPack Portal for enrollment, billing, and academic records.
