Reset Your Brickyard Account Password for REPORTER


If you are having issues signing into Reporter with your Brickyard account, you may need to reset your password.

Reset Your Brickyard Password

If you have forgotten the password to your Brickyard account or it isn't working, you can reset your password.

  1. Go to the Brickyard Password Reset Request page.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Brickyard account. 
    • Note: If you get a message saying "No matching account found for this email address," then you should confirm that you are spelling it correctly and that it is the email associated with your Brickyard account. If you continue getting the error message, then you may need to create a Brickyard account.
  3. Select Send Confirmation Code.
  4. Open the NC State Brickyard Password Reset email sent to the entered email address.
    • If the email does not appear in your inbox within 15 minutes, be sure to check your spam folder and do a general/all mail search for brickyard@ncsu.edu.
  5. Copy what is listed after Your Confirmation Code. It should be six characters long.
  6. Go back to the Brickyard Account page requesting your confirmation code. Enter your confirmation code.
    • If you are having issues with the confirmation code, you can select the "click here" link in the password reset email instead.
  7. Enter a valid Password and Confirm Password. Select Change Password. 
    • Note: The Change Password button will be grayed out until all of the password requirements are met. 
  8. You should receive a confirmation message saying "Password changed successfully."

To log in, go directly to REPORTER and use the Brickyard login.
