With the Web Inbox tool, you can listen to voicemail messages and send new ones from your computer.
Note: This article covers managing voicemail messages in the Web Inbox. For voicemail settings, see the Messaging Assistant for Voicemail article.
Listening to a Message
- Log in to Web Inbox using your Unity ID and password.

- In the upper-left corner, select the message folder (Inbox, Deleted, or Sent).
- In the lower-right corner, choose how you want to listen: Phone or Computer.
- If you chose Phone:
- Enter the phone number where you want to receive the call.
- Highlight and double-click the message.
- When your phone rings, answer to hear the message.
- If you choose the Computer:
- Highlight and double-click the message.
- The message will play through your computer speakers.
- Adjust the volume using the slider bar at the bottom-left of the window.
While the message is playing:
- Click Pause or Play to stop or resume.
- Click to the left of the progress indicator to skip backward.
Message Handling
- Highlight a message you want to manage.
- Select one of the following options:
- Reply
- Reply All
- Forward
- Mark Unread
- Delete
Note: Deleted messages are permanently removed and cannot be recovered from the Deleted folder.
Composing a New Message
- At the lower-right corner of the window, click Phone.
- Enter the phone number where you want the system to call you.
- Click New Message in the upper-right corner.
- In the To: field, type the recipient's name and select the full name from the list.

- (Optional) Click Add Cc or Add Bcc to include additional recipients.
- Enter a Subject.
- Select any desired options: Urgent, Private, and Read Receipt.
- Click Record, then click Start Recording.
- When your phone rings, answer and record your message.
- Click Stop Recording, then click Send.
Note: Web Inbox cannot replay your recorded message. If you are not satisfied, click Cancel and start again.
