If you notice a suspicious invitation or event on your calendar, report it as spam.
- To report an event as spam, it must be sent from Google Calendar. Calendar events created by another provider, app, or service can’t be reported as spam.
- When you report an event, the event is removed from your calendar. If the event recurs, all events in the series are removed.
How do I report Google Calendar Event Spam?
To report a spam calendar event, please use the "Report as spam" feature built into Google Calendar.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- Click the event you want to report.
- At the top right, click More actions
Report as spam.
How do I prevent these spam events from being created?
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- At the top right, click Settings
Settings.
- On the left, under “General,” click Event settings
Add invitations to my calendar.
- Select Only if the sender is known.
- This adds an event to your calendar only if the sender is in your contacts, part of your organization, or someone you've interacted with.
- This option might reveal to senders that they aren't in your contacts.
