This article explains how to reset Cisco Jabber on supported devices.
Important: The Reset option is only available when you are signed out of the Jabber client.
Resetting Jabber deletes all saved information, including:
- Chat messages
- Account settings
- User preferences
Jabber for Windows
- From the Jabber login window, click the Cog
icon.
- Select File > Reset Cisco Jabber.
- Alternatively, click the Reset Jabber link at the bottom of the login screen.
- In the Reset Cisco Jabber window, click Reset.

Jabber for macOS
- From the Jabber client login window, click Jabber in the top menu.
- Select Jabber > Reset Jabber
- Alternatively, click the Reset Jabber link at the bottom of the login screen.
- In the confirmation window, click Reset.

Jabber for iPhone and iPad
- From the Jabber login screen, tap Reset Jabber.
- Tap Reset in the confirmation window.

Jabber for Android
- From the Jabber login window, tap Reset Jabber.
- Tap Reset in the confirmation window.
