Gemini is Google's generative artificial intelligence (AI) tool. Gemini is available to all users as a chatbot at gemini.google.com. Google AI Pro for Education (formerly Gemini for Workspace) (Gemini integrated into Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) is also available as a purchased license upgrade from software.google.com. You may need to login to see this page.
Gemini is a Core Google Workspace app and covered under the Core Terms of the Google Workspace Education Agreement.

Data Security
- When using your NC State account, your queries to not train public models.
- Gemini has been approved for green (not sensitive) and yellow (moderately sensitive) data as defined by the Data Management Framework.
- To ensure your data is protected, you must log in with your NC State account. Using your NC State account, Gemini will not use or review your data to train its AI models.
Deleting Search Queries/Chats
Users cannot currently delete any Gemini queries/chat. This is a heavily requested feature, and Google shared it would come to Education accounts in the future.
