Airplane Mode on Wireless Devices

This document is intended to guide end users through the process of enabling and disabling Airplane Mode. Accidental enablement of Airplane Mode is often a cause for being unable to connect through wireless connections to the internet or local intranet.

Information

Many systems have a means to disable wireless connectivity, which is often referred to as "airplane mode". Systems typically have both hardware and software options available for enabling or disabling wireless connectivity.

Note: Hardware options can either be a switch located on the front or side of a device or can be a keyboard combination that needs to be pressed to enable or disable wireless connectivity.
