Online and distance education courses and on-campus courses are documented the exact same way on an NC State transcript (course, description, hours, grade, and points).

A transcript is a copy of a student’s complete academic record at the time that it is issued. It contains all courses a student has taken while enrolled at NC State University as an undergraduate, graduate, and/or non-degree student.
