Automated Call Distribution

ACD is the concept of efficiently handling call volume for a Call Center using UCCX. Small departments can route incoming calls without investing in software using Call Handlers and/or Hunt Pilots.

Construction Services

This includes adding and moving faceplates and Wireless Access Points.

Pricing Model

All requests for Construction Services will begin with a consultation meeting with the customer. Then, an estimate of charges will be created and must be approved before any work begins.

 

 

Data Activation

This includes activation of wall ports for either Computer use or VoIP phone lines. Computers only require a non-powered connection (non-PoE), while VoIP lines require a powered connection (PoE).

Notes:

• Non-powered port. Does not include Network Connection charges.

Remote Site Connection

Time Warner Cable Internet or AT&T DSL service is sufficient for most customers. However, a Metro E-circuit may be the answer for customers who need higher bandwidth or bi-directional connectivity.

Third-Party SIP Device Integration Support

ComTech manages and supports an enterprise-level communications platform that provides real-time communications to the university.

Third-party devices must be specified and provided by ComTech to maintain service levels. Custom solutions require evaluation before connection.

VoIP Services

VoIP Lines

The University's standard phone service is Cisco VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). VoIP technology enables telephone connections over the Internet and includes voicemail and long-distance functionality. 

If you do not wish to have Voicemail or Long-Distance Service, indicate this on the Order Details page when completing your order in the PCR Customer Center.

SpeechView

Cisco SpeechView is a voicemail-to-text transcription service that delivers a text version of voicemail messages to your email.

Long-Distance Authorization Code

Provides a unique authorization code for placing long-distance calls from shared or restricted phones.

Important Notes

• There is a minimum $50 labor charge when a Service Technician is dispatched to add or move a phone to a new location. 
• Additional charges apply when a Service Technician is required to attend and/or when port activation is required. 
• If you are moving and changing service at the same time, applicable charges from both columns may apply. 
• Long-Distance Authorization Codes are provided at no charge; all long-distance charges are passed through by Windstream.

 

 

Webex Conferencing

Cisco Webex offers multiple platforms that combine audio, video, and web conferencing into a single, cost-effective application. Includes meetings, events, training, support, and Teams.
