ComTech provides faculty and staff with a university phone line and number that can be used with a Cisco phone and/or Cisco Jabber to make voice calls to others, both on and off campus. The service includes numerous customizable programming features that enable the creation of complex call flows, allowing for configuration tailored to individual and departmental business needs.

- Sign in to your myphone Self Care Portal on your computer, where you can control features, settings, and services for your Cisco Unified IP Phones. For example, you can configure speed dial numbers, contact lists, and call forwarding settings.
- Voicemail - Available as a part of every active campus phone number for a one-time charge.
- Overview of Cisco Voicemail
- Cisco Speechview - An add-on service feature for voicemail that transcribes voice messages into text, allowing users to receive their voicemails in written form. Transcribed voicemail messages are delivered to the user’s NC State Gmail account for easy access. Users will also receive an email with the .WAV file as well.
- Mobility Solutions - ComTech's Mobility Solutions are designed to support NC State employees in performing business tasks more efficiently and productively. With an increasing number of employees working from home or various office locations, our mobility solutions make it easier to stay connected; however, office-based employees can also benefit. Please see the Overview of Single Number Reach and Extension Mobility article.
- Single Number Reach - This service allows users to receive calls on another phone or mobile device while away from the office. It is free for every active campus phone number.
- Extension Mobility - This service enables users who do not regularly work in the same office space to temporarily access their campus phone configuration from any other campus phone.
