Yes, it is possible to appeal for a refund of tuition and fees. Full refunds are typically not granted for students who attend any portion of the semester. However, tuition and fee refunds for official withdrawals are prorated based on a designated schedule. In order for appeals to be considered in a timely manner, students must read the Application for University Fee Appeal guidelines in their entirety and follow them explicitly. Appeals must be accompanied by written documentation supporting the extraordinary circumstance that the student feels merits an appeal. Appeals not submitted on the Appeals Form and/or that do not include documentation to support the appeal will be rejected until required documentation is received. The appropriate Administrative unit will notify the student of their decision.
