All NC State users can request web services via Web Registry. Service contacts can use Web Registry to maintain the service after it has been created.
Currently, Web Registry is used to request and maintain three different Google services:
A generic account represents a role rather than an individual in the Google Workspace at NC State. A generic account has access to the same Google Workspace apps (including Gmail, Docs, and Calendar) as an individual account.
Usage
Generic accounts can be used to meet several business needs, including but not limited to:

Each service must have at least one administrative contact and at least one technical contact. There is no difference in these contacts other than the label; they have the same abilities.
All service contacts can:
Depending on the web service, service contacts may have other service-specific abilities.
