How do Health and Exercise Studies (HES) online and distance education courses work?

Online and Distance Education courses carry academic credits that can be transferred to degree programs at NC State or at other colleges or universities. They are designed for optimum schedule flexibility, allowing you to balance your studies with other responsibilities. Often, HES courses offered through online and distance education require a pre-test and a post-test of your skills through video recording. You will watch online videos and, in some cases, will need to find a location close to you to practice the skills you are learning. Specific course information and requirements can be found within Moodle and in the course syllabus.

Please visit the Department of Health and Exercise website for a complete list of DE courses available.
