Graduate and undergraduate students at NC State University may take a combination of online and distance education and on-campus courses up to their maximum course load.

Non-Degree Studies (NDS) students may enroll in a maximum of eight credits each semester or summer session. NDS students can request permission from Registration & Records to take more than 8 credit hours.
