Will my GI Bill cover tuition in full?

GI Bill tuition coverage depends on the type of education benefit you are using and your course delivery mode. For students using the Post-9/11 GI Bill, enrollment in at least one in-person class is required to receive the full-time stipend. The hours required for the full-time stipend are 12 for the fall and spring semesters and 8 for the summer semester. For students enrolled exclusively in online courses, the GI Bill will only pay the national average.

For Chapter 35 (Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance), Chapter 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve), and Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty), tuition is typically covered in full regardless of the course delivery mode.
