Unsubscribe from a group using the new Groups UI

1. Sign in to Google Groups and click My Groups if required.
2. In the row to the right of the group name, click the Leave group icon.
3. Confirm this action by clicking Yes, leave group.

Unsubscribe by email

If you are subscribed to a Google Group and don't have a Google account to allow you to sign in to the Google Groups UI, then you can unsubscribe from a Google Group by sending an email.

• Requires you to know the Google Group email address.
• You must send the email from the email address you are subscribed to the Google Group with.

Compose your email

1. Compose an email to group-groupname+unsubscribe@ncsu.edu or groupname+unsubscribe@lists.ncsu.edu.
   
   • If the group email address is group-booturkey@ncsu.edu, then you'll compose the email to group-booturkey+unusubscribe@ncsu.edu.
   • If the group email address is booturkey@lists.ncsu.edu, then you'll compose the email to booturkey+unusubscribe@lists.ncsu.edu.
   • The subject and body of the message can be left blank.
2. Send your email.
   
   • You'll receive a confirmation email from Google that your unsubscription was successful.
