This is specifically for the Google Group Managers who:

• Want to add a large population of people to receive emails from a Google group.
• Want a small subset of the group to be able to email the list without moderation.
• Want all other members to be moderated when they email the list.

Set all members to moderated posting

1. Visit Google Groups.
2. Click My Groups.
3. Click the name of any Group you manage.
4. In the left column, click Members.
5. Next to the Member column heading, click the Select all box.
6. Click Change posting (pencil icon) and then select Moderated.

Select the subset of the group you want to allow to post

1. Click the checkbox next to each member you want to allow to post.
2. Click Change posting (pencil icon) and then select Allowed.

Set all future members of your group to moderated posting

1. In the left column, click Group settings > Posting policies.
2. Scroll down and change the New member restrictions setting to New member posts are moderated.
3. Click Save changes.
