It is not recommended to set up wireless printers on any NCSU Wi-Fi network. The most common source of Wi-Fi interference at NC State is wireless printers creating ad hoc networks. Any wireless printer network could also be visible on the network for others to print to.

Instead, disable your printer's wireless capability and use a wired connection (typically USB cable) instead.
