Parent/Guardian Access
Your student needs to grant you explicit permission if they want you to have access to any of their academic or financial records. This access includes:
- Student Account / Billing / Payment — access to view and print current and past bills, view current changes, and the ability to pay online
- Tax Information — access to view and print the 1098T information (The Student Account access must be granted in order to allow access to tax information.)
- Financial Aid — access to view financial aid information, including awards, loans, scholarships, financial aid application status, fellowships, and work study jobs that your student has received or been offered
- Academic Information — access to view class schedules, grades, transcript, and transfer credit information
- Directory Information — access to view student directory information, such as local address and phone number (If your student has a FERPA block set up to prevent their information from appearing in the directory, granting this access will still allow you to view this information as a parent/guardian.)
View Your Access
You can see what access your student has or has not granted you by going to MyPack Portal. Make sure that they have created a parent/guardian account for you first.
- Log into MyPack Portal with your Brickyard account.
- Select the Parent/Guardian Information tile. If you have more than one student, you will need to select the name of the student whose information you are trying to access.
- Under Access Granted to You by the Student, the Yes or No next to each section indicates whether or not you've been granted access.
If you want access to something that you have not been granted, you will need to talk to your student. Only they will be able to update the permissions.
