WolfPrint uses PaperCut's Mobility Print service for wireless printing on non-managed personal mobile devices.  Supported operating systems include iOS, Windows, macOS, Android, and ChromeOS.  Linux is not supported.  These instructions will guide you through the Mobility Print setup and printing process for Windows.

Before You Begin

Connect to the NCSU Network.  Your device must be on a secure university wireless network to use WolfPrint.

• On campus: Connect to eduroam or ncsu Wi-Fi
• Off campus: Connect to the NC State VPN 

Installation

Install the Mobility Print Client.  Optional: Watch the Windows Installation Video to see the steps in action.

• Download: Install the Mobility Print Client from go.ncsu.edu/mobility-print-client-win
• Select Printers: Choose the desired WolfPrint FollowMe (virtual) printers during the setup wizard.

• Log In: Enter your Unity ID and password when prompted.
• When complete, the WolfPrint FollowMe printers will be installed. 

Printing Files

Step 1. Send your print job to a WolfPrint FollowMe virtual printer.

• Open the file you want to print.
• Choose File > Print from the application menu or press Ctrl+P.
• Select a WolfPrint FollowMe printer.

Step 2. Find a WolfPrint physical printer.

Use the Find a Printer page to view printer locations, capabilities, and a printer map, then match your queue to the appropriate machine:

• WolfPrint-BlackandWhite: Pick up at any printer (black-and-white or color).
• WolfPrint-Color: Pick up at any color printer.
• WolfPrint-11x17: Pick up at any 11x17-capable printer (Model C840dn).

Step 3. Confirm and release your print job.

⚠️ Note: Print jobs expire after 12 hours and are automatically removed from the system. 

Authenticate at the physical printer using one of these methods:

• Log in to the device by swiping your WolfPack One Card/NCSU ID in the card reader attached to the printer.
• Manually enter your Unity ID and password at the control panel. 
• Scan the QR code on the front of the printer with your phone's camera to use "Touch-Free" print release.

Follow the on-screen prompts at the control panel to release your print job. 

• Select Print Release.
• Choose the file(s) to print.
• By default, your All Campus account will be charged for your print job.
• If you have access to a Shared Account, select the available account number from the screen.
